Who Are We
Community Empowered Wellness Center is a nonprofit wellness destination being built in the heart of Detroit. Founded by a Detroit native with over 11 years of experience in education and a deep background in life coaching, mindfulness, and movement — CEWC is a space where Detroit's youth, women, and families can access the resources they deserve.
All under one roof. All rooted in community.
Mind
Mental wellness, life coaching, mentoring, and workshops for women, youth, and families.
Movement
Pilates, mindfulness movement classes, and community wellness experiences that restore the body and calm the mind.
Empower
Tutoring, computer access, career readiness, and educational resources that open doors for Detroit youth and adults.
Who We Serve
We serve Detroit's youth ages 5 through 18 who need academic support, mentorship, and access to resources.
We serve the women — especially mothers — who carry their families and deserve a space built just for them.
We serve the families of Detroit who have always been resilient and now deserve access to match that resilience.
